Why Choose Us
Choose Epic Money Matters & Beyond if you want financial education that is authentic, hands‑on, and built for real life. We design learning experiences that honor diverse backgrounds, support different learning styles, and make financial concepts clear and accessible for every student.
We’re not just teaching money — we’re teaching skills for life, rooted in truth, purpose, and community. Whether you’re a student, family, or school, we’re here to help you build financial confidence that lasts.
Unlike traditional programs that focus primarily on banking concepts, Epic Money Matters focuses on real-life financial decisions students will face every day, from taxes and credit to careers, housing, insurance, and fraud prevention.
What Makes Us Different
Epic Money Matters & Beyond stands apart because we believe financial literacy should be experienced, not just explained. Our program is built on hands‑on, real‑world learning where students actively practice the skills they need to navigate the financial world, not just read about them.
We intentionally prioritize pen‑and‑paper learning before introducing technology. Students today spend countless hours on screens, and research shows that writing by hand strengthens memory, comprehension, and long‑term skill retention. By slowing down and engaging with the material physically, students build deeper understanding and stronger financial habits.
Our approach is practical, relatable, and grounded in real life. Students learn by doing — budgeting with real numbers, analyzing paychecks, comparing financial choices, and reflecting on their values. This method helps them build confidence, agency, and the ability to make wise decisions in the world they’re growing into.
What Is Agency and Why It Matters Today
Agency is the ability for students to understand their choices, make informed decisions, and take meaningful action in their own lives. It’s the confidence to say, “I can do this,” paired with the skills to actually follow through. Agency is not just knowledge — it’s ownership, responsibility, and the belief that your decisions shape your future.
In today’s world, teaching agency is more important than ever. Students are growing up in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment filled with constant information, digital distractions, and financial decisions they’re expected to make earlier than previous generations. Without agency, young people can feel overwhelmed, passive, or dependent on others to guide their choices.
At Epic Money Matters & Beyond, we teach agency through hands‑on, real‑world practice. This approach helps them build the confidence and independence they need to navigate the financial world with clarity and purpose.
Agency empowers students to:
think critically
make wise, values‑driven decisions
advocate for
themselves
take responsibility for their financial future
build long‑term stability and confidence
When students develop agency, they don’t just learn financial skills — they learn how to trust themselves, take action, and create the life they want.
Our Vision
Our vision is to build a generation of young people who understand money with clarity, confidence, and purpose. We envision financially empowered youth who make decisions rooted in truth, values, and long term stability. Through practical tools and inclusive learning, we aim to strengthen families and communities for generations to come.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide accessible, culturally relevant financial education that meets students where they are and equips them for real world success. We create materials that are honest, practical, and adaptable for diverse learning needs, ensuring every student can grow in confidence and capability. We are committed to helping youth connect financial knowledge to their goals, identity, and future.
Our Core Values
We believe in truth, integrity, and transparency as the foundation of financial learning. We value inclusivity, cultural relevance, and equitable access so every student feels seen, supported, and capable.
Our Major Objective
Our major objective is to equip students with the essential financial skills they need to confidently navigate the financial world. Ultimately, we are committed to helping young people build financial stability, personal agency, and a meaningful sense of purpose.
